Why do I need a wedding planner?
Weddings are fabulous, wonderful, emotional, and exciting celebrations of your new life together! However, planning a wedding is a ton of work, often between 200 – 250 hours! Wedding planners help bring the dream of your wedding to life, handling much of the legwork, keeping you on track and on budget. We handle every detail, so you can enjoy the experience of your engagement and wedding instead of stressing about it.

Is there a fee for the initial meeting?
Never! This is our time to get acquainted and to decide if we are a good fit for each other!

Do you charge an hourly rate, flat fee or percentage of the budget?
Typically after our initial phone call, we will put together a customized package and quote with a flat rate based on the size and scope of your wedding.

Can you come with me to vendor meetings?
Absolutely! We love vendor meetings and are happy to attend!

Do you run the ceremony rehearsal?
Yes, it is crucial that we attend and run the ceremony rehearsal in conjunction with your Officiant, so it is automatically included in every package. Unless your church has specific rules about their team running the rehearsal, then we respect those policies.

Do you work with an assistant on the wedding day?
Yes, all our wedding packages always includes an assistant, and sometimes more than one depending on the size of the wedding.

WHAT ARE THE FEES FOR PLANNING AN EVENT?
This really depends on the event type and level of involvement and realizing your expectations. We charge a flat rate planning fee in addition to fees for services, starting at $25 per hour.

HOW DO I KNOW IF EVERYDAY EVENTS CO IS A GOOD FIT FOR US?
We recommend a consultation to ensure that we’re the right fit. We are very flexible and here to meet your needs, so we are confident we will find a positive way to work together.

HOW DO YOU SELECT YOUR VENDORS?
We are very close to many quality vendors in the Berkshires through our long experience with party planning and other events we have produced. Securing each vendor and making sure they are tops in their fields and have all needed licenses/insurances is an important part of our job. Also, we love to work with vendors who are fun to partner with and believe that this makes the entire planning process easier all around.

DO YOU OFFER DAY OF COORDINATION SUPPORT?
We can certainly provide this service if it is something you are seeking. This will allow you to concentrate of being fully present at your event and not worrying about the behind the scenes operations. This service is billed at the regular hourly rate based on your type of event.

HOW OFTEN WILL WE MEET?
This is best answered when we have our first consultation. Once we know what you would like your event to be like, we can make a schedule. At the time of the consultation, we will come up with an estimate for total number of meetings and hours needed in order to help you stick to your budget.

ARE THERE ANY TYPES OF EVENTS YOU WILL NOT HELP PLAN?
As long as it’s legal, we’re here to help. We enjoy planning baby showers, anniversaries, kids birthday parties, you name it! We can do it.
